Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 1-800-Plumbing Pros (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit 1800plumbingpros.com (the “Site”) or call our telephone number.
Please read Section 3 carefully. Because we are a referral service, we share information with third-party contractors and partners. That sharing is the core of what we do, and you should understand it before contacting us.
1. Who We Are
1-800-Plumbing Pros is a plumbing referral and lead generation service. We are not a plumbing contractor.

- A description of your plumbing issue
- Any other information you volunteer during the call
Call recordings. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and compliance. Recordings may contain any information you share during the call.
When you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

- Approximate geographic location derived from IP address
- Date and time of access
This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect payment card information, Social Security numbers, financial account details, or health information. Do not include such information in calls or emails.
3. How We Share Your Information
This is the most important section of this policy.
With contractors and network partners
When you call us requesting service, we share your information with third-party plumbing contractors, contractor networks, and lead aggregation partners so that they can contact you about your request.
Information shared typically includes your name, telephone number, location, and a description of your plumbing issue.
These third parties are independent businesses. Once your information is shared with them:
- They may contact you by telephone, text message, or email
- They operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control
- They may retain your information according to their own practices
- They may share it further with their own partners or subcontractors
We do not control and are not responsible for how third-party contractors or networks use, retain, or further share your information. If you have concerns about a specific contractor’s practices, contact that contractor directly.
With service providers
We share information with vendors who help operate the Site and our service, including hosting providers, telephony and call-tracking providers, analytics providers, email providers, and backup services. These vendors process information on our behalf.
For legal reasons
We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use; to investigate suspected fraud or illegal activity; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
Business transfers
If our business is sold, merged, or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your information for advertising
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers for their independent marketing purposes.
However, we do receive compensation from contractors and network partners in connection with referrals. Under some state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act — sharing information with third parties in exchange for compensation may be legally defined as a “sale” or “sharing.” We disclose this plainly so you can make an informed decision. See Section 8 for your rights.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Connect you with plumbing contractors in your area
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Monitor call quality and train staff
- Analyze traffic and usage patterns
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce our Terms of Use
5. Telephone Communications and Consent
By calling us or providing your telephone number, you consent to be contacted by us and by one or more participating contractors or network partners regarding your service request. This may include calls and text messages, including those placed using automated dialing technology or prerecorded messages.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
To revoke consent, email [email protected], or tell any contractor contacting you to stop. Note that we cannot force third-party contractors to stop contacting you; you may need to contact them directly. You may also register your number with the National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov, though this does not affect companies with whom you have an established relationship.
6. Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Necessary cookies — required for the Site to function
- Functional cookies — remember preferences and enable features
- Analytical cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site
- Advertising cookies — may be used to measure campaign effectiveness
You can manage cookie preferences through the consent banner on the Site, or through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect Site functionality.
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for interpreting them.
7. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
- Call records and recordings — typically retained up to 24 months
- Email correspondence — typically retained up to 24 months
- Site analytics data — typically retained up to 26 months
- Information shared with contractors — retained by those contractors under their own policies, outside our control
You may request deletion of information we hold. See Section 8.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you
- Delete information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights
How to exercise these rights: email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate your records — typically the telephone number you called from and the approximate date.
We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 45 days.
Important limitation: we can only act on information we hold. Once your information has been shared with a third-party contractor or network, deletion requests to us do not delete it from their systems. Contact those parties directly.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the rights above, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To opt out, email [email protected] with “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the subject line. Because we share information with contractors as an inherent part of providing a referral, opting out means we cannot connect you with a contractor.
Other states
Residents of Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. Use the same contact method.
EEA and UK residents
Our service is directed to residents of the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK and contact us, you may have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact [email protected].
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption on the Site and access controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit information at your own risk.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Sites
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the revision. Material changes may be announced more prominently. Review this policy periodically.
